We invite you to submit abstracts for the mini-colloquium "Molecular systems under extreme conditions of pressure and temperature" which is part of the "Condensed Matter in Paris" international conference to be held from 24th to 29th of August, 2014, in Paris, France (http://cmd25jmc14.sciencesconf.org). The deadline for submission is April 15th.
The aim of this mini-colloquium is to present recent and exciting works or developments from experiment and theory on molecular systems under extreme conditions, and stimulate discussions among participants. Possible topics include: structural transitions in solids, liquids or amorphous phases, pressure-induced effects on chemical bonds, novel chemistry/compounds under pressure, insulator-to-metal transition, polymerization, ionization, new experimental and theoretical techniques, etc...
“Condensed Matter in Paris” is an international conference jointly organised by the Condensed Matter Divisions of the French Physical Society and of the European Physical Society and will cover all aspects of condensed matter physics. The scientific program will consist of a series of plenary and semi-plenary presentations and mini-colloquia. Within each mini-colloquium, there will be invited lectures, oral contributions and posters.
